Good night, Steve. Sweet dreams forever.

If I can achieve in my life a tenth of what this man did, I will be a great human.  Steve Jobs was the ultimate modern visionary.  It's because of him that I ever got interested in "tech" at all.  What a powerful legacy he's left us with.  You can dream so big you can change the world.

5 Tips to Quitting Your Job & Still Making A Living « Clutch Magazine

Clutch Magazine posted a great article about how to transition from a day-job to your passion.

I screwed this up last year and had to return to a full-time survival job; but next time, I'll be smarter, following these steps...

1. Find out what you love so much that you'd do it for free.

2. Set up consulting/freelance work based on your skills.

3. Free your mind from traditional opinions about the status of certain jobs.

4. Determine what your necessary expenses are and cut out non-essentials.

5. Make sure you have several different income sources.

Always Learning

me hemming a flapper dress costume for Xoregos Performance Co.'s production of Harlem on My Mind

During a dry spell earlier this year (didn't have any acting gigs lined up), I worked as a Stage Manager, Production Assistant and Costume Designer.  Gotta do what you gotta do...  And it's very edifying to experience different parts of this show business.  It was invaluable!  Turned out to be the best thing I could have done with my down time.

And here are some of those costumes I helped put together:
